Job summary
Are you a caring and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker? Would you like the opportunity to develop your skills in a Health and Justice setting? You could be a key part of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, providing individualised care for patients in a prison environment. You will work as part of a specialist drug team, offering information, advice, assessment, recovery, and harm reduction services within the prison setting.
Main duties of the job
Our services include Substance Misuse, reception screening, providing care packages, conducting physical health observations, clinics such as Phlebotomy and ECG, and health promotion. You need good communication skills, be a team player, and provide high standards of care under supervision of qualified nurses or practitioners. If you have NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience and a solid care background, this could be the perfect job for you!

Education and Training (Essential)
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or currently studying in the final year of a nursing degree
Knowledge and Experience (Essential)
* Experience working with people with complex health needs in health or social care settings
