Are you a dynamic and adaptable Sales Account Manager who can naturally build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes? As a field-based Sales Account Manager at Hilti you will be provided with ongoing development and support to maximise your potential and build a successful sales career – backed by a nurturing culture that enables you to thrive.
In this field-based role, you’ll be pivotal in the management and development of our Marine accounts. With extensive training you will be the go-to expert providing innovative solutions to customer operations that include maintenance, repair, and new-build. You will also support Hilti’s product portfolio in our Offshore division, Oglaend System – a Hilti Group company well-established in the offshore and marine industries.
Your ability to identify opportunity, build trust, and convert leads into long‑term partnerships will be key to your success. By visiting customer sites Monday to Friday you will build relationships, advise on products, and demonstrate the right tools and products for the customer’s needs.
Responsibilities
* Develop clear and formulated strategies and plan visits to customers’ sites across your designated region – getting to know and understanding their needs and providing tailor‑made solutions to grow the profitability of your area.
* Identify opportunities to attract new business, grow current accounts, and work on your key focus areas. Work with your colleagues in your division and our Business Developers to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
* Focus on developing key customer relationships and proactively identify new business opportunities, including upselling new product ranges.
* Take full ownership of the operational, organisational, and strategic account management of your sales area using your skills and our CRM System Salesforce to stay connected, informed, and efficient.

What You Need
* Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and willingness to travel.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK. Due to Home Office regulations this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
* Experienced working in Business‑to‑Business (B2B) Sales, with a strong drive to outperform and build robust pipelines.
* Comfortable working on site everyday Monday to Friday in a fully field‑based role.
* Solution‑oriented approach, able to uncover customer pain points and needs to promote best‑suited solutions.
* Resilience, adaptability, and ability to meet all levels of customers from site operator to managing director.
* Drive, curiosity, and a motivated approach to achieve success and overcome challenges; passion to learn, develop and grow.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work autonomously to manage time and priorities.
