Front Office Recruiter (Quant Research and Quant Trading) - Systematic Trading Firm
Hawkwood are currently partnering with one of the top quantitative and systematic investment managers - a technology driven firm who are implementing a scientific approach to investing.
With headquarters in London and offices based all around the world, they have a total headcount of c900 employees. The space that they operate in requires them to hire some of the smartest minds from around the world!
Reporting directly in to the Recruiting Lead, you will be responsible for supporting on all of their Front office hiring efforts. We are looking for someone who is passionate about identifying and engaging with some of the very best talent from around the world! This role would be responsible for hiring in to their London, Paris, Geneva, Mumbai and Dubai offices.
Working pattern: Our client operates with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days a week in the office.
In this role, you can expect to be getting involved in the following:
* Your core objective is to map, identify, and engage with talent for the Front Office roles (Quant Researchers and Quant Trading).
* Work with hiring managers to understand their requirements and design effective recruitment campaigns
* Build reports and use data to inform talent strategies and systems. Leveraging insights from your interactions with candidates and market research to help fortify your hiring processes.
* Direct headhunting and active sourcing of technical candidates using a variety of sourcing techniques and approaches. This will range from online methods, to deep boolean searching and in person methods such as industry conferences or other specialised events.
* You will use your creativity and critical eye to constantly evaluate how they can improve and expand their activities and branding to make sure they reach the right talent
What we're looking for:
* 3 to 5+ years’ experience recruiting within the technology/data science/investment management/fintech industry either in an agency or in-house
* Experience working with social/professional media, recruitment platforms and interfaces, specifically Greenhouse and LinkedIn
* Significant experience using recruiting, candidate, and market data to drive decision-making in the hiring process
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
* Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through to completion of tasks
* Collaborative, critical thinking, analytical and creative problem-solving mindset
* Ability to work in a high-performance, high-velocity, evolving environment
* Experience of working in a standalone or self-sufficient role an advantage
