Responsibilities
* Develop training programmes, strategies and processes to improve the company’s Health and Safety, Environment, Quality and corporate responsibility performance.
* Lead the continuous development, implementation, and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with international standards and internal quality requirements.
* Lead training programs to foster a culture of safety among all employees.
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to HSE.
* Analyse and communicate incident reports and KPIs for safety performance metrics, providing actionable insights to prevent future occurrences.
* Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and maintain all necessary documentation.
Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field is desirable.
* Proven experience in HSE management within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification is highly desirable.
* Role model Champion to implement SHEQ initiatives.
* Confident and effective communicator.
