A Personal Assistant is required for a 13yr old boy who loves arts and crafts, particularly making things with airdry clay, colouring in and tracing anime figures to colour in. He likes Minecraft, dinosaurs and loves animals. The family are looking for someone who will support this boy to go out without family members and grow his independence. They would like someone to do things with him like go to charity shops and cafes, visit The Deep, go to the cinema etc. He tends to trip over things and bump into things so will probably need someone to remind him when there are obstacles in his path. The PA will be required to keep him safe. Tone of voice is a huge trigger for him, if anyone uses a 'stern' voice he'll interpret that as they're shouting at him, so he is looking for someone who is fun to be around and who has a calm, patient manner. He specifically said it's important that his PA is kind and caring. The PA will be employed subject to a DBS check.
