Our Rolleston dealership is seeking an experienced mechanic/technician to specialise in servicing and maintaining our range of John Deere commercial mowing and golf equipment, Polaris utility vehicles and John Deere compact utility tractors. You may be an experienced automotive technician who is ready to broaden their experience with specialty equipment, or you may already be familiar with the range and are keen to help us to grow in this space.
About the Role
* Challenge and exposure: Maintain and service a range of machinery including commercial mowing, golf and turf equipment, Polaris utility vehicles including Side x Sides and ATVs, and John Deere lifestyle block small tractors
* Premium machines and technology: Assemble and conduct checks on new premium range machinery, ensuring they are ready for delivery
* Upskilling and development: Engage in frequent opportunities to maintain and upskill your knowledge of new machinery, technical skills and servicing techniques with ongoing, targeted product training
* Strong team environment: Surround yourself with experienced and passionate technicians based out of a large dealership in a growing township
About You
* A passion for supporting our valued clients to achieve best outcomes
* Experience working as a Mechanic/Service Technician with a relevant qualification in Petrol or Diesel Machinery Servicing
* Experience servicing & maintaining small engine equipment
* Ability to use various IT solutions and diagnostic tools in daily activities
* Able to systematically work through diagnostics and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Excellent communications skills coupled with a positive attitude, taking ownership of your work

Rates/Hours of work:
Base hourly rates from: $35.00- $44.00, plus generous tool allowance and overtime.
Minimum of 40 hours per week.
