HGV Technician Required in Crawley - on Call Rotating week on, week off
1. Pay: £20 - £26 Per Hour DOE + Qualifications + call out premium
2. Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday core hours with every other week being on call and available 24/7

As an HGV Technician, your key duties will include:
15. Conducting inspections, repairs, and defect diagnostics on a range of HGVs, trailers, PSV, and vans
16. Performing minor bodywork repairs such as panel replacements and windscreen repairs
17. Assisting with breakdowns primarily for fleet customers, with no motorway roadside repair work
18. Using state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment in a well-equipped workshop
19. Ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards
20. Managing workload efficiently to deliver timely repairs and inspections
Requirements for the HGV Technician role:
21. Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician
22. Relevant qualifications and licences, ideally Class 1 licence or willing to be put through your Class 1 licence
23. Strong diagnostic and repair skills on modern commercial vehicles
24. Ability to work flexibly within a team in a fast-paced environment
25. A professional attitude with a focus on customer service and quality work
26. Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
