The Maintenance & Engineering Manager will lead and oversee all maintenance activities across the site's plant, equipment, and systems, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement.
Based at a high-tech facility, you'll be part of a skilled and supportive team, working in an environment that values innovation and collaboration.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing and maintaining maintenance databases (e.g., TriRiga) and site building management systems.
2. Leading and organizing daily workloads for maintenance and contractor teams.
3. Planning and costing minor works and reactive maintenance efficiently.
4. Overseeing M&E subcontractors, ensuring compliance and site inductions.
5. Ensuring statutory compliance and upkeep of essential site equipment and logbooks.
6. Diagnosing faults, recommending repairs, and implementing energy-saving measures.
7. Liaising with clients to align maintenance activities with production needs.
Using your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will drive efficient maintenance processes, boost operational performance, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
Minimum qualifications and experience include:
* Completed a mechanical and electrical engineering apprenticeship.
* At least an ONC or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
* Minimum of four years' relevant maintenance experience.
* Proven supervisory skills.
* Good knowledge of site plant, equipment, and factory services.
* Familiarity with Safety, Health, and Environment legislation.
* Ability to write risk assessments and manage workplace safety.
