What you will do:
* Lead therapeutic group sessions to help individuals enhance their speech and communication skills.
* Develop personalized one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage engagement and empower their recovery journey.
* Manage a designated caseload utilizing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, design, implement tailored interventions, and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with care plans.
* Demonstrate expert skills in managing complex cases, considering cultural and linguistic differences, and generating effective strategies for caseload management.
* Conduct audits and participate in research to enhance therapeutic treatments.
* Apply specialist knowledge in neuro-behavioural, brain injury, and specialist care.
To be successful in this role:
* Hold an HCPC registration.
* Possess experience managing a caseload involving the assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
* Demonstrate experience working with families to provide holistic care.
* Show evidence of continuing professional development to stay ahead in your field.
