The Role
As a Procurement Officer, you will analyse spending data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across the Rentokil Initial businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts
* Supporting with supplier management on key suppliers
* Running tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking
* Managing internal processes related to data gathering
* Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
* Provide support when required on the management of the waste category
* Ensuring supplier management information is sent within contracted timeframes
* Managing internal trackers
* Sourcing a range of diverse and sustainable products and services
* Conducting ongoing supplier spending analysis
* Working with legal colleagues to negotiate draft contracts on service-level agreements
* Tracking and reporting on critical supplier contract performances
* Travel to suppliers
Requirements
Requirements:
* One year minimum experience in a previous procurement role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
* Confident in handling difficult conversations
* Strong people skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with people at all levels
* Excellent team player
* You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
* Full driving licence
