The role of the Head of Finance is to oversee the day-to-day processes of the Finance Department, enabling accurate financial decisions to be made in line with the objectives of the charity.
Objectives
* Produce accurate and timely reporting to aid with decision making across the Foundation and Nest.
* Lead on the annual audit and all external reporting as required.
* Support key stakeholders, SLT and the exec team with internal finance requirements and advice.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential
* Excellent organisation skills
* Qualified in either ACCA/ACA/CIMA
* High level of numeracy
* Knowledge of charity accounting requirements
* Understanding of payroll processes
* Experience of preparing management accounts
* Excellent IT skills including Excel and Word
* Experience with data analysis and variance reporting
Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable
* Strong understanding of finance systems
* Experience of working as part of a small finance team
