Role Summary
Provide professional high‑level personal assistant, secretarial, and organisational support for the Deputy Medical Directors and administrative staff management for the Medical Directorate Senior Business Manager, with a focus on project support for the Deputy Medical Director (Quality and Safety) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage delegated administrative staff – effective management, recruitment, appraisal, supervision, and training.
* Prioritise workload and work autonomously as a fully integrated member of the Corporate Medical Director team.
* Provide comprehensive and robust administrative/secretarial support for delegated clinical and non‑clinical work streams and projects within the Executive Medical Directors portfolio, including diary and email management, coordination and servicing meetings, taking calls, passing accurate messages, and maintaining information systems.
* Support the Medical Directorate function and provide administrative cross‑cover when required.
* Work under a hybrid working model; not suitable for full‑time remote; regular attendance at Trust sites and occasional travel to other locations.
* Maintain high competence in Microsoft Office packages, communication, and organisational skills.
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role requiring regular attendance at Trust sites and occasional travel to meet operational and service requirements. Flexibility in working location is expected in line with business need.
