What you'll do
As a Senior Architect in Commercial at Sainsbury's Tech, you will play a crucial role in our Core Commercial Transformation Programme – an SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will primarily be responsible for working with SAP and our Systems Integrator partner to define and plan seamless end-to-end integration designs across SAP modules and external systems, aligning integration solutions with business goals. You will ensure scalability, security, and reliability of integration solutions. You will provide thought leadership to resolve integration obstacles and optimize outcomes. You will collaborate with Architects and the Engineering Community to develop and communicate the technical architecture, roadmap, and strategy for SAP integration. Being an integral part of the Architecture Community of Practice, you will share your expertise, contribute innovative design ideas, and promote collaboration and innovation across teams. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the technology landscape, industry and retail developments, application of modern engineering techniques and cloud-native design principles, building trust and credibility, and delivering results focused on problem-solving and collaboration.
Who you are
We’d love to meet a Senior Architect with:
* 5+ years of Architecture experience.
* Strong knowledge of integration patterns such as Kafka, API, SOAP, and data transformation techniques.
* Solid understanding of security standards.
* Experience with cloud integration.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* An analytical and problem-solving mindset.
* Proactive and driven person, able to prioritize and work to deadlines.
* Experience of working with SAP modules (desirable).
