Peninsula has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work in the field, developing new business (B2B) from scratch, from initial networking to closing deals.
We offer an incredible uncapped commission scheme, with realistic Year 1 earnings of at least £100,000 (Basic salary £30,000 + £30,000 Top-up + Commission), along with a benefits package including a company car (electric vehicle) or a £5,000 car allowance.
As a Field-based Business Development Manager, you will source and visit potential new business in person, through various channels, selling Peninsula’s consultancy services to help SMEs manage their staff more easily and safely.

* Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with business owners, forming the foundation for long-term engagement.
* A focused work ethic and motivation, leaving no stone unturned.
* A structured sales approach, with preparation and planning each day for consistency.
* Adaptability to learn a new industry; sector experience isn't essential as we provide comprehensive training. An open mindset and willingness to learn are key.
* A professional approach to every business interaction, whether by phone, in person, or at networking events. Delivering the best professional service starts with the first contact.
