New Directions Education is recruiting a committed and compassionate SEND Teacher to work in an Ofsted-rated Outstanding SEND primary school in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting children with ASD and complex needs within a specialist setting.

The Role:
7. Teach and support primary-aged pupils with ASD and complex needs
8. Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans
9. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
10. Create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
11. Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and sensory needs
The Ideal Candidate:
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
13. Experience working with ASD and/or complex needs (desirable)
14. Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
15. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
16. An enhanced DBS check and employment references covering the last 5 years will be required.
