What you will do:- Dispense medications accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.- Provide clinical support and expert pharmaceutical advice to medical and nursing staff.- Conduct medication reviews and optimize the therapeutic use of medicines for patients.- Participate in ward rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.- Ensure safe and effective use of medications through monitoring and quality assurance processes.- Educate patients on their medications, ensuring they understand the benefits and potential side effects.- Support the implementation of new pharmacy services and innovations.
Candidate requirements include being registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), having a minimum of 6 months post-qualification work experience, completing a 1-year pre-registration training, and previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
