The Role
An exciting development opportunity has arisen where we are looking for 2 Team Leaders within the Digital Services Contracts & Finance Team to manage contracts and build services administration. The post holders will be members of the Management Team for Contract and Finance Management within the Digital Services directorate of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC). They will ensure the Digital Health Strategy delivery plan is delivered in the context of business and procurement requirement activities.
Duration, Location and Working Pattern
Permanent, Full‑time
Base location – Westward House
Shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 9‑5 (will be amended to accommodate change to 36 hours on April 26)
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all IT procurement: purchasing hardware, software, and digital services for the organisation.
* Contract management: ensuring suppliers meet obligations, monitoring performance, and maintaining ongoing supplier relationships.
* Working across clinical specialities: collaborating with a wide range of healthcare teams and professionals.
* Working with other NHS Scotland Boards: coordinating procurement and digital service needs across the wider NHS network.
* Supporting digital services: leading and improving procurement processes tied to digital systems and services.
* Operational links: involvement with lifecycle management, Heatmap processes, building services administration, and onsite contractors.
Knowledge, Training, Qualifications and/or Experience
Applicants should be qualified to Degree level with specific IT content, Procurement, Contract Management or equivalent professional qualification or have proven comparable knowledge and experience.
