Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
* Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used in accordance with food safety regulations
* Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required, including meal preparation and garnishing
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
* Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and presentation
* Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
* Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards
* Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
* Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
* Strong skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques specific to pizza making
* Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure
* Previous serving or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
* A passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail are highly valued qualities
