About the role
Connex Education is proud to be working in partnership with a number of schools across Stoke-on-Trent to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in education or care, or for graduates passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. These roles are available for an immediate start.
Our partner schools support a wide range of pupils with varying needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Assignment Details
* Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or similar care/education setting
* Willingness to provide personal care where necessary
* Confident and calm when working with challenging behaviour
* A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
* A current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education
