Role Overview
Design, implement and support secure network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring high levels of performance, resilience and security.
Key Responsibilities
* Design & Deliver secure network infrastructure across hybrid environments
* Configure & Maintain routing, switching and network security components
* Integrate & Support connectivity with cloud platforms
* Monitor & Optimise network performance, availability and resilience
* Troubleshoot & Resolve network incidents and technical issues
* Collaborate & Deliver with internal teams and external partners
* Report & Communicate network performance, risks and operational updates
Qualifications
* Strong experience in network engineering within enterprise or secure environments
* Proven experience in network engineering
* Strong proficiency in routing and switching technologies
* Solid understanding of network security principles
* Experience with cloud networking
* Experience in network monitoring and performance management
* Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution
* Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (desirable)
* Experience with firewalls, security appliances or network automation (advantageous)
* Understanding of secure environments and compliance requirements (advantageous)

Location & Eligibility
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Gloucester or in Central London 5 days a week.
