HR Coordinator - Midlands
Lift Schools is hiring a skilled HR Coordinator to join our Midlands regional HR team. This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working (remote 2 days, office-based 3 days at Lift Greenwood, Birmingham area; planned relocation to Lift Tamworth in late 2025/early 2026).
Location: Hybrid – Remote 2 days per week; Office-based 3 days per week
Salary: £28,624 - £29,572 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Annual Leave: 33 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
Start date: Immediate start date

What you’ll be doing
* Maintain a compliant and up-to-date Single Central Record (SCR).
* Coordinate recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews.
* Process new colleague appointment documentation, including offer letters and contracts.
* Ensure timely and accurate payroll and benefits processing.
* Maintain an accurate HR tracker for each school and/or region.
* Manage the onboarding of all new colleagues to the trust.
What we’re looking for
* L2 qualifications – GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4) or equivalent.
* Experience of working in HR administration.
* Experience with HR Management Systems.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
