About the vacancy:
We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on selected projects to support the delivery of the Programme Management Office and other strategic change or business continuity initiatives by collaborating with teams across the business.
This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with association's strategic vision, commitments and goals.
The Project Manager will ensure that the project is optimised by implementing processes and controls to govern and manage initiatives during all phases of the project, and ensure that each project is delivered on time, cost and within scope.

Specifically, in the role you will:
Lead the planning and implementation of projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables and be responsible for the creation and upkeep of all project documentation including project schedules, and RAID logs
Develop detailed project schedules using appropriate project planning software such as MS Project, defining project workstreams, tasks, resources, task relationships and owners
Build and lead project delivery teams to successful project delivery, providing guidance and support where needed
Report on progress of project(s) to all stakeholders and, where appropriate, to project governance groups which could include:
Risk
Budget
Benefits realisation
Project health
Plan on a page
Scheduling
Work closely with Programme Management Office colleagues and others to ensure effective ways of working ensuring that the right people are involved in projects at the right time and contributing ideas for improvements
Work with the Programme Management Office to develop a programme level schedule through the aggregation of individual project schedules
Carry out any other duty as requested by the Programme Manager or Head of Programmes in support of the association and emerging objectives and policies
