Job Details

EXAM INVIGILATORS

Casual contract – hours to be agreed during the academic year

Salary: £12.85 per hour

Invigilators are responsible for the correct running of internal and external examinations in a range of exam rooms.

Experience Is Not Required, As Training Will Be Provided.

The work is on a casual basis throughout the year, with the majority being during May and June. Exams typically take place in two sessions: morning and afternoon, though there is often an additional mid-morning session.

Invigilators should enjoy working as part of a team. They should be interested in working in a school environment and in supporting candidates, in both large and smaller groups.

The position is ideally suited to a responsible, calm, organised individual who have effective communication skills and are expected to dress appropriately for a school environment.

Experience of working in a school environment or with secondary aged students would be advantageous.
