Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, and working closing with our People Development Manager, this is a hands-on role for someone who loves turning strategy into clear, engaging communications. You’ll lead both internal and external campaigns and content that bring our culture, values and expertise to life — supporting colleague engagement, recruitment, and the firm’s continued growth across the region and in key sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns across digital and traditional channels, internal platforms, and firm-wide initiatives
* Manage projects across a mix of in-house teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and on budget
* Own the planning and delivery of internal and external events, including seminars, webinars, and networking events
* Develop, implement, and manage the firm’s social media strategy, creating platform-specific content and engaging with target audiences
* Create compelling, people-centred content that reflects life at Ramsdens and showcases our work, culture, and values
* Write, edit, and proofread copy for all channels including email, website, social media, events, promotional materials, and thought-leadership pieces
* Support internal communications initiatives, including leadership messaging, team updates, colleague engagement campaigns, and key announcements
* Use insight, analytics, and feedback to measure the impact of communications and improve future engagement and effectiveness
* Assist with brand management, ensuring all communications and materials reflect the firm’s values, tone of voice, and visual identity
* Support CSR and community engagement initiatives, including campaigns, events, and partnerships
* Provide guidance and training to colleagues on communications best practice where required
Personal Specifications
* Strong experience in marketing communications, ideally within professional services or the legal sector.
* Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail and consistency.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
* Comfortable working with senior leaders, partners, and cross-functional teams.
* Experience managing social media, digital campaigns, and events.
* Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in people, culture, and building engagement.
* Familiarity with marketing platforms, content management systems, and creative tools is desirable.
