This role has a starting salary of £33,552 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.

We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our expanding team within the Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Business Support Team, located at our Woodhatch Place office (Reigate), providing support to front line social workers based in the South East of Surrey.

Wellbeing and ensuring a work-life balance is very important to us and a key component of this is our hybrid way of working. You won't be required to be in the office 5 days a week, however there is a requirement to work in the office on a rota basis at least two days a week. Core working hours are 08:50-17:00 to ensure full cover is provided to operational teams.

About the Role

Children, Families, and Lifelong Learning provides a range of specialist services to support vulnerable children and young people. These services operate within extensive statutory frameworks, requiring staff to have specialist knowledge to deliver effective support to high-risk and high-need groups.

Our administrative teams play a vital role in ensuring Social Care Practitioners receive quality and timely support. As a Business Support Coordinator, you will lead and develop a team of administrators to provide an efficient and quality administrative service, helping to improve outcomes for children.

Working closely with the Senior Business Team Leader and Business Team Leader, you will ensure the smooth and effective delivery of support services, ensuring a proactive, resilient and flexible approach to statutory tasks and other administrative requests, achieving this by efficiently managing workloads, staff, and coordinating with social care teams and senior management.

As a motivated, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual with a strong administration and people management background, you will be joining a team that places a premium on exceptional service delivery and ongoing development. We are looking for a highly organised individual who takes initiative, sets clear priorities, and meets deadlines effectively. You will be proactive in assessing and implementing process improvements to enhance service performance and customer satisfaction.
