We are looking for a candidate who will be a key member of our small family-like team. You will be responsible for supporting students and carrying out administrative tasks.

The Event Academy is the UK's No 1 Event Management Training organisation, offering live and online courses at all levels and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Our focus is on developing our students' professional skills and experience to ensure they are work-ready and able to achieve their career goals in the event industry. We offer a variety of courses, work placements, volunteering and jobs within the industry.
Student Services
The primary role of the Student Services Manager is to manage the Student Journey for all Event Academy live and online courses, and to assist in the development of the department. This administrative role is fundamental to the smooth running of our courses. The Student Services Executive will constantly strive to make each, and every student feel valued and a part of the Event Academy family.
Main Responsibilities:
* Managing all student communication as well as relationships with lecturers
* Booking all course venues and management of venue relationships
* Facilitating Course Registrations in London
* Assisting the Course Directors with day to day management tasks
* Managing all student platforms and online exams
* Updating student records and managing all course admin and creation
* Regularly updating database records
* Responding to Student Services emails to ensure all incoming enquiries and requests are dealt with promptly
* Project management of student networking and lecturer events
* Facilitating lectures and providing technical support
* Assisting with office management
* Assisting with any other organisation projects when required
Person Specification:
The following are essential skills that the successful candidate should have:
2 – 3 years administration experience
Ability to problem solve
Attention to detail
Common sense
Proven ability to make good decisions and think on your feet
Quick to learn new systems and processes
Ability to manage time and multi task
Great communication (written & oral)
Confident phone manner
Friendly, outgoing and nurturing personality, with a passion for and student welfare
Proven IT literacy skills
Above all our Student Services Manager will be able to make well-reasoned, logical decisions under pressure and run a smooth and successful department.
