SourceCo Recruitment are hiring for a leading logistics organisation, who are looking to appoint a highly experienced Client Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts within the airfreight and logistics sector.
This role is ideal for someone with strong client facing experience and specialist knowledge of Airfreight Dangerous Goods, looking to take ownership of major accounts and drive long term growth.
The Role
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key logistics accounts
* Overachieve revenue and profit targets across existing clients
* Build strong, long-lasting relationships and act as the primary point of contact
* Develop and deliver strategic account plans
* Manage contracts, SLAs, and KPI performance to ensure service excellence
* Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling services
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions
* Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
* Travel within the UK and internationally as required
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ continuous experience in a similar role within logistics
* Strong background in freight forwarding / airfreight environments
* Specialist knowledge of Airfreight Dangerous Goods by Air & Road
* Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
* Experience working in fast-paced logistics environments
* Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ideally based in the Midlands or Northwest
