Why This Role?
This is not “just another AI job.” As a Forward Deployed Agentic AI Engineer, you’ll embed directly with enterprise and government clients to design, build, and deploy multi-agent systems that actually work in production. You’ll move projects beyond flashy PoCs into mission-critical systems serving 100s–1000s of users, while shaping the future of enterprise AI adoption.
What You’ll Do
* Design agentic systems from scratch – Own the agent loop (plan → act → reflect), task decomposition, orchestration (DAG/state machine), and memory management.
* Build the tooling layer – Create tool schemas, retries, rate limits, SDKs for safe extensibility, and robust agent APIs.
* Engineer memory & knowledge services – Implement episodic/semantic memory, retrieval APIs, deduping, and summarisation agents.
* Productionise at scale – Deploy containerised systems (K8s, serverless, GPU pools), implement CI/CD, observability (OpenTelemetry), canary rollouts, and auto-scaling.
* Guarantee robustness – Apply guardrails, cost/latency budgets, checkpointing, critic/reviewer agents, and HITL escalation.
* Evaluate rigorously – Use golden sets, automated eval harnesses, Pass@N, retriever validation, and drift monitoring.
* Engage clients directly – Run workshops, roadmap sessions, and maturity assessments, translating complex AI concepts into actionable strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
* 3+ years in AI/ML engineering or advanced technical consulting.
* Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/agentic systems into production.
* Strong software engineering foundations: orchestration, memory, deployment, and monitoring.
* Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, ReAct, CoT loops) and/or proven ability to build without them.
* Confidence in client-facing settings: workshops, presentations, advisory roles.
Preferred:
* MSc/PhD in AI, Computer Science, or related field.
* Knowledge of PyTorch/TensorFlow, RAG, vector databases, orchestration tools.
* Background in start-ups (hands-on generalists) or consultancies (client exposure).
* Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector).
* Independent, entrepreneurial mindset; thrives without hand-holding.
