Hours; Full time (37hrs per week, all year round)


Duration; Permanent


Salary; Upto £32,199 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications) plus benefits


Location; North Notts College, Worksop

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and forward thinking Lecturer to join our team. You may already be teaching or working in industry and looking for a new challenge in Education.

We are seeking someone who can deliver engaging and innovative teaching across Level 2 Esports, T Level Business, and BTEC Creative Media, inspiring learners to develop skills relevant to modern industry. You will help bridge the gap between traditional business principles and the fast evolving digital and Esports sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Esports, Digital, or Business professionalto move into education and share their expertise with the next generation of learners.

You will deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment across these areas, motivating students to reach their full potential. You will support learners through effective progress monitoring, enriched curriculum design, and strong industry links that provide real world experience and employability skills.

Your will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching across Level 2 Esports, T Level Business and BTEC Creative Media programmes, developing engaging curriculum content that reflects current industry standards. You will support learners with progression routes, enrichment activities and work experience. A key element of the role is to build and maintain strong employer and industry partnerships to enhance learner outcomes.

This role will be based at North Notts College and will be flexible to deliver specialism across the other RNN Group campuses when required.


You will…

play an important role in developing creative and interactive resources to inspire outstanding learning and will be responsible for monitoring and tracking learner progress to promote positive outcomes. Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve departmental and organisational objectives.

Candidates should be an effective and motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.

You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant subject area (Esports, Digital or Business), as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards. You will have strong digital literacy and the ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching.

You will be able to bring the subject to life, using combined methods of practical, theoretical and digital which will engage your learners and provide them with the best skills, knowledge and behaviours for the future.


Department Info

You will work as part of the curriculum team at North Notts and you will also closely work with and take direction from our Curriculum Team Leaders. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
