My client, a large, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer with a focus on Flood Risk and Drainage to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, near the historical, industrial city of Doncaster. Essential Criteria: A Degree in Civil Engineering Working knowledge of flood risk and drainage strategies, including Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.) A good understanding of InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, and other software packages The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team A willingness to learn and consistently develop technical skills through hands-on experienceIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer to possess the following skills: Some professional experience, particularly in the flood risk and drainage sector Working knowledge of a range of additional relevant software packages A demonstrable commitment to improving your knowledge and skills in the field Excellent time management and communication skillsAs a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be joining a team of expert design engineers, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region.
