Salary: Up to £44,000 basic
OTE: Up to £57,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the recycling and heavy machinery sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their service team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically biased multi-skilled engineer who enjoys working in the field and wants long-term stability, progression and strong earning potential.
The Role
* Field-based position covering sites across the UK
* Installation, servicing and breakdown support on recycling machinery
* Working mainly on balers and compactors (desirable)
* Additional work on shredders and other heavy machinery (desirable)
* Fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance
* Electrical testing and diagnostics
* Completing digital service reports
* Occasional overnight stays (fully paid)

Requirements
* Background in recycling or heavy machinery
* Field service experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to work independently
* Strong customer service & communication skills
* Willing to stay away overnight when required
Package
* Basic salary: Up to £42,000
* OTE: £57,000+
* Overtime paid at 1.5x
* Company van, tools & work phone provided
* Door-to-door travel paid
* Monday to Friday - Days
