We are currently hiring a Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech I to join Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.
The Housekeeper
Cleans the administrative areas, hospital, outpatient care centers, restrooms, clinical equipment, floors and hallways
Disinfects public areas and private rooms
Aids in the prevention of communicable diseases
Responsible for linen stocking and delivery
Housekeeper Key Accountabilites
Ability to learn and use established techniques for the efficient completion of duties
Ability to present self in a highly professional manner with a positive attitude and open communication
Understands that honesty and ethics are essential
Possesses basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.), including relevant electronic and communication devices
Strong attention to detail,ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians or others
Observes safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs (i.e. "wet floor")
Knowledge of regulatory/safety requirements related to all assigned work
Reports safety hazards as appropriate
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information
Full Time/40 hrs/wk
Work Schedule: Night Shift, Weekend Work Required
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Housekeeper Qualifications
High School diploma/GED preferred
Ability to read, write and understand the English language
Salary Range: Minimum 15.23/hour - Maximum 23.53/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
