Key Responsibilities
1. Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence, and reports
2. Diary management, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel
3. Managing incoming and outgoing calls and emails in a professional manner
4. Opening and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures and compliance requirements
5. Liaising with clients, counsel, and other third parties
6. Maintaining accurate filing systems (both digital and paper-based)
7. Assisting with the preparation of court documents, bundles, and other legal paperwork
8. Supporting the Employment Law team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
About You
9. Previous experience as a legal secretary (preferably within employment law)
10. Fast and accurate typing skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and attention to detail
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
12. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
13. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
14. Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional and confident manner when dealing with clients
15. Discretion and respect for client confidentiality
