Full Stack Developer (UX/UI-Aware) – Hedge Fund Environment

I am currently working with a leading global hedge fund that is expanding its engineering capability and looking to hire a Full Stack Developer with strong product thinking and working knowledge of UX/UI design.
This role sits within a high-performance engineering team building internal applications used across the business. While this is not a pure UI role, the team is looking for someone who can own application flows, screen layouts, and user journeys, in addition to core full-stack development.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build full-stack applications used in a fast-paced hedge fund environment
* Contribute to UX/UI decisions, including user flows, screen layouts, and overall usability
* Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and end users
* Translate business requirements into intuitive, well-designed technical solutions
* Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability
Key Requirements
* Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer
* Reasonable familiarity with UX/UI principles (user flows, layouts, usability)
* Ability to design and think through how users interact with an application
* Comfortable working without a dedicated UI team and taking ownership of design decisions when needed
* Experience in high-performance, engineering-driven environments is a plus
