Offer description

Overview

Join Ward Williams, where innovation meets purpose. As the world's first Chartered Surveyors to achieve B Corp Certification™, we're not just transforming construction projects, we’re driving positive change across the built environment. We’re proud winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, recognising our commitment to social and environmental responsibility in everything we do—from how we deliver projects to how we build careers!

We’re currently looking to expand our Project Management team in Winchester. We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager (PM grade) with ideally 2–3 years of experience, preferably within Healthcare (though this is not essential), who is capable of supporting small capital projects. The role requires a good understanding of contract administration (NEC experience is a bonus), strong client-facing skills, and a solid grasp of core PM responsibilities including risk management, programme management, stakeholder engagement, and progress reporting. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the flexibility to travel regularly to sites across the South Coast region.

Our team is as diverse as our interests. From avid walkers to dedicated surfers, and those who cherish a quiet night with a good book, we celebrate a vibrant mix of personalities. Whether you thrive in the spotlight or prefer a more introspective approach, you'll find a supportive community that champions equality, diversity, and inclusion.

We're seeking individuals who share our vision of creating a sustainable future through responsible construction management. As part of the B-Corp community, we believe business can drive positive change. Sustainability isn't just a goal, it's woven into our core values and every project we undertake.

Your role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive services across a mixed range of projects and sectors, including commercial, residential, public, and private work. We’re looking for someone with experience in a Construction Consultancy environment who’s keen to get involved in high-profile schemes that are helping shape the future.

If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact while growing your career, Ward Williams is the ideal place for you. We’re committed to supporting your development through tailored training, mentorship, and opportunities to take on new challenges. Here, your skills and ambitions are valued, and you’ll have the space to build a career that’s both rewarding and impactful.
