As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the CTO - Identity Federations, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
1. Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
2. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
3. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
4. Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
5. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
6. Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
7. Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8. Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and applied experience
9. Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
10. Proficient in Python frameworks like FAST API/Flask/Django and experience in building, deploying and supporting restful web API integrations
11. Experience in test automation and python unit test frameworks like pytest, unittest etc. or integration test frameworks
12. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
13. Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
14. Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
15. Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile,
16. Hands on experience on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Kubernetes.
17. Flexible working with changing priorities

18. Familiarity with IAM concepts and authentication methods
19. Experience in Java development
20. Exposure to cloud technologies
21. Knowledge of UI technologies like React/NodeJS and AWS cloud products will be valuable
