About the Role:
Join Derby City Council's Arboricultural Department as a Tree Inspector We are seeking passionate and skilled arborists to help manage the Council's tree stock safely and in line with our tree management policy. This role is crucial for delivering excellent tree management services to Derby City residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct tree inspections and manage GIS tree inventory systems.
* Communicate effectively with team members and the public.
* Set and prioritize realistic goals within a busy professional team.
* Ensure customer care, quality standards, and equal opportunity principles are upheld.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture
* Experience in tree inspecting and GIS tree inventory systems
* Full current driving licence
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to perform inspections on foot in all weather conditions
* Commitment to customer care, quality standards, and equal opportunity
