Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: East Sussex
Pay: £130 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Day-to-Day or Long-Term (Flexible, Part-Time or Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to work in Secondary schools across East Sussex.
Whether you're an experienced DT teacher or an ECT, we have flexible roles to match your availability and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Teach across DT specialisms including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology (depending on your expertise)
Ensure safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materials
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
Support students in developing practical skills and creative thinking
Collaborate with department colleagues to plan and assess student progress
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a DT specialism
Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop or DT environment
A current, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
