About the opportunity:
Within our UK Real Estate Operations team (Facilities), we have an immediate requirement for a colleague seeking a lateral move to join the team to manage the Facilities needs of our Newcastle office. This role exposes you to the heart of the business, sitting at the forefront of our client centric journey.

We are looking for a fun, caring, and passionate individual to manage the Facilities needs of the Newcastle office which covers welcoming guests and new employees through to full compliance requirements of the office and networking with the Facility Leads across our UK network and part of a global team. Our Newcastle (Gosforth) office has just completed a refurbishment project and the Facility Lead role will help support and oversee elements of the transformation project working alongside the Project Manager.
The role can support part-time hours up to 20 hours per week, covering core office hours from 08.30-14.00 Monday to Thursday. This role supports a multi-site location in Gosforth and Quayside. Our Gosforth office in Newcastle has free onsite parking or there are good links and access to public transportation routes. Jacobs also offer a Season Ticket loan alongside other flex-benefits. Physical activity is a daily part of this role. You will need to be able to lift (aligning with UK HSE guidance) bend, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and sometimes sit at reception for long periods.

Previous Facilities or similar experience is desirable, but not essential. All grades and technical and professional backgrounds are considered. Full on-boarding to Facilities & on-the-job training is provided.
