Day in the life of a Fire Risk Assessor
In this role, you’ll provide expert, independent fire safety advice across our property portfolio, helping us identify, assess and manage fire risks in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
You’ll play a vital role in protecting our customers, colleagues and visitors, while supporting the organisation in meeting its responsibilities as a Responsible Person and, where applicable, an Accountable Person under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What we are looking for
* Recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, Level 3/4 Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent)
* Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development in fire safety
* Proven experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments across residential and non-residential buildings
* Strong working knowledge of fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
* Ability to analyse risk, apply professional judgement and make clear, proportionate recommendations
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly
* Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
