Whether you're an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, real-world curriculum content that prepares students for careers in health, care, and early years settings.
Responsibilities of a Health and Social Care Teacher:
* Teach Health and Social Care across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 (BTEC or equivalent).
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons that reflect the latest practices in the field.
* Support students in coursework and vocational assessments.
* Promote the development of empathy, ethics, and professional understanding.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and tailored support.
* Contribute to the wider school/college community and enrichment opportunities.
Teacher of Health and Social Care Qualifications:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Health and Social Care at GCSE and/or A-Level or BTEC.
* Strong subject knowledge and ability to connect theory to real-life applications.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
