Our exclusive client, based in Chorley, is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant to join their team. This busy, established company is well known in the area and has a very stable and long-standing team.
Duties Include
1. Scan and process utility invoices ready for payment.
2. Assist in the processing of non-utility invoices for all companies.
3. Assist with payment runs.
4. Perform bank reconciliations for all companies.
5. Deal with queries related to purchase invoices.
6. Work daily on Excel.
7. Support the wider finance team when needed.
You must have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, work methodically, and have the ability to multitask. The client is open to considering candidates who are eager to grow and develop their accounting skills, offering AAT study support, or those who prefer to focus solely on this type of role without studying.
