Town Planner

An established and well-regarded planning and development consultancy is seeking a Town Planner to join its growing team in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to work on a varied portfolio of projects while developing their career within a supportive, professional environment.
The Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary planning team, you will be involved in a broad range of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. Responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, submitting, and managing planning applications
* Providing planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders
* Undertaking planning appraisals and feasibility assessments
* Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and clients
* Contributing to appeals, policy reviews, and site promotions (depending on experience)
About You
* Degree-qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
* MRTPI-qualified or working towards chartership
* Previous experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
