Personal Tax Assistant Manager
Location: Droitwich Spa
Salary: Circa £42,000 - £46,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Clark Wood, specialists in accountancy practice and tax recruitment, are collaborating with a reputable and growing firm of chartered accountants in Droitwich to recruit a Personal Tax Assistant Manager.
Role Overview:
As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager in the private client tax team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Personal Tax clients. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing compliance and reporting aspects, including partnership tax computations, property income accounts, self-employment accounts, GP pension declarations, capital tax computations, trust tax returns, IHT accounts, and trust accounts. You will also provide tax advice and guidance to clients while supervising Tax Assistants within the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax role within a practice environment
Strong technical expertise in Personal Taxation
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as their main point of contact
Prepare and review personal tax returns
Train, guide, and support junior staff
Identify tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assist with tax consulting work related to high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) and trusts as needed
