Duties
* Construct, repair, and maintain structures using various materials including wood, metal, and concrete.
* Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, flooring, and cabinetry installation.
* Carry out roofing duties including installation and repair of roofing systems.
* Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
* Assist with plumbing installations and repairs as required.
* Engage in masonry work for building walls, patios, and other structures.
* Conduct welding tasks for metal fabrication and repairs.
* Provide electrical support by installing fixtures and wiring as needed.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in all aspects of construction work.
* Fabricate components as per project specifications while ensuring quality control.
Skills
* Proficient in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes.
* Experience in roofing applications and materials.
* Knowledge of construction painting practices for both interior and exterior surfaces.
* Familiarity with plumbing systems and installation methods.
* Competence in masonry techniques for durable construction solutions.
* Ability to perform welding tasks with precision for various projects.
* Understanding of electrical systems with experience in installations preferred.
* Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, and drills, along with power tools like nail guns and sanders.
