Scope of the Job
Provide exceptional levels of customer service to all customers. Merchandise, promote and sell all OMEGA products to end consumers. Meet all sales targets and boutique objectives.
Your Key responsibilities
* Management: Assist the management team in training, supervising and motivating employees; plan, organise and prioritise yourself and the team to optimise time usage; deliver high customer service within the team; motivate and develop team performance; assist in ad‑hoc managerial tasks as required.
* Sales: Greet and serve all customers with a friendly service, delivering a memorable experience; ensure familiarity with the full product range so customers receive detailed information; maintain knowledge of all watch functions and other OMEGA products; provide reliable information on sales and customer service matters; help display merchandise as directed; contribute to reaching monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; deliver exceptional customer service to every customer, whether by email, phone or in person.
* Security: Assist in controlling shrinkage by attentive shop‑floor action, merchandise handling, accident prevention and careful operation of the till and administration policies; maintain awareness of products and security hot spots; follow company policy for opening/closing the store; ensure correct processing of all deliveries.
* Caring for the Boutique: Keep the store clean and presentable at all times; maintain both back‑of‑house and shop floor; be health and safety aware; uphold visual merchandising standards and align with company policies.
* Communication: Adhere to company policies and regulations; attend briefing sessions; present and conduct yourself professionally to customers and colleagues; communicate clearly with international customers and understand their customs and culture.
* Product Knowledge: Attend regular training days; take responsibility to understand new products and apply training; deliver good product knowledge to customers.
* Other: Undertake duties that may fall within the remit of the post under the direction of your line manager; entertain clients and guests within the boutique and external environment.
Professional requirements
* Proven experience in the retail industry at a sales advisor level.
* Previous experience with watches/jewellery or a prestigious retail background.
* Good understanding of luxury retail.
* Passion for OMEGA and luxury watch retail.
* Availability for shift work, longer trading hours and staying late for VIPs.
* Experience dealing with international customers.
* Ability to communicate in other languages, e.g. Mandarin or Arabic.
* For candidates with lesser experience, consideration may be given to a Retail Sales Advisor role.
