Overview of the Role
Architect job in Birmingham within a design‑led practice working on varied UK projects. You will support delivery from concept through technical stages following the RIBA Plan of Work. This established practice operates across architecture and building consultancy within the UK. Projects span multiple sectors with a collaborative, design‑led approach. Teams work across studios to maintain consistent standards, with a focus on clear communication, sustainability, and professional development within a structured delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop project briefs into coordinated design proposals aligned with RIBA stages
* Produce creative and technically compliant architectural designs
* Coordinate design information with internal teams and consultants
* Prepare drawings, models, and presentation materials
* Support planning applications and building regulations submissions
* Attend meetings and liaise with stakeholders to progress projects
Required Skills and Experience
* ARB registered Architect with minimum five years post‑qualification experience
* Strong design capability with clear visual and technical communication skills
* Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
* Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM environments
* Understanding of UK building regulations and compliance requirements
* Experience preparing planning submissions and coordinating approvals
