How you’ll make an impact
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager, gaining a high level of exposure to all transactional elements of finance.
You have an interest in starting your career in Finance or wanting to progress your Finance experience. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
What you'll do
* Posting daily banking and managing accurate allocation to customer accounts
* Dealing with customer queries in relation to their account
* Raising credit notes
* Refund processing
* Intercompany transactions
* Maintaining confidential customer information
* Updating customer relationship management systems
* Providing management with key reports
* Querying processes to challenge improvements
* Ad hoc duties
What you’ll bring with you
* Similar experience preferred
* Ability to take ownership, be proactive and achieve desired results
* Be able to work in a relatively fast paced and high pressured environment
* Must be able to work within a changing environment
* Must challenge old processes and the way things have been done in the past
* Studying towards AAT or looking to start
* Good knowledge of Microsoft products
* Able to communicate effectively to various stakeholders
* Be prepared to work extra hours during busy periods
