Overall Purpose of Job:
The Production Administrator/Coordinator is responsible for supporting the smooth execution of production activities by managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring effective communication between teams. This role bridges the gap between planning and operations, helping to maintain efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery of production goals.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, schedules, budgets, and reports
* Coordinate daily production schedules, ensuring resources (materials, equipment, staff) are available
* Track progress of production projects, identify bottlenecks, and support problem-solving
* Track purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports related to production activities
* Administer, configure, and maintain the ERP system
* Ensure accurate and consistent data entry and management
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
* Provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting from the ERP system
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost reduction
* Update production schedules and communication with stake holders including sales teams
Experience
* 1–3 years+ of experience in production coordination, administration, or project support
* Experience of work order administration within an ERP system
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and production/project management tools
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
* Ideally experience of using PowerBi
