We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our lettings department and ensuring a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
* Handling new property and existing tenant enquiries by telephone and email.
* Assisting with general day to day correspondence via telephone and email.
* Working closely with our Lettings administrative team.
* Assisting with the smooth running of all potential lets.
* Using Property Management software for the ongoing management of a significant number of properties.
* Ensuring legal requirements relating to residential lettings are adhered to
* Dealing with maintenance issues – instructing and liaising with contractors and monitoring the progress of work.
Requirements
* Knowledge of the relevant legislation and previous experience is beneficial.
* A self-motivated person is required who can work closely within a small team to ensure our professional standards are maintained.
* Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of dedicated Residential Lettings software would be an advantage, such CFP, Alto etc.
* The ability to communicate effectively with clients, tenants and contractors in a friendly and professional manner is vital.
* A flexible attitude to work responsibilities
* A driving licence is essential
